Understanding watch history in contacts





Watch history keeps a detailed log of all video viewing activities of a particular contact. Each time a contact watches a video, a record is created with the following information:

Time: - timestamp when the viewer began watching the video.

Timeline: - shows which part of the video the viewer watched and how many times each segment was watched. This metric is a key to understanding your video engagement.

Timeline is color-coded. Darker colors indicate sections with high engagement, gray areas indicate sections the viewer did not watch (skipped).

Location: - is the physical location from where the video was watched.

Source: - is the website where the video was watched on. If the video was embedded in your site for example, the source would be your website's url.

Device: - shows the device type and browser used to watch the video
