Adding contacts/subscribers in my account
Being able to generate email leads and build your subscriber list is one of the key marketing features that sets Adilo apart from other video platforms.
Interactive email subscription forms can be added to videos to capture leads from your video viewers. These leads are store in Adilo in your **Contacts** page. In addition, you can also automatically add them to your integrated email marketing service.
Below is a step by step guide to collecting email leads from your video viewers.
Step 1: Integrating your Email Service Software
First, you will need to connect your email service application. Adilo currently supports Aweber, Mailchimp, GetResponse, Keap, Convertkit, ActiveCampaign, GotoWebinar, WebinarJam and Zapier. The list of integrations is currently growing, so if your favorite email platform is not on this list, be sure to let us know.
Go to the app **Integrations** tab found in the Settings page
Click the New Integration button, this will open a modal window with all available integrations. Select the email application you want to integrate and click the Continue button
Enter the Display name of the integration. This is the name you will use to refer to this integration within Adilo and it's used for display purposes only
Depending on the app selected in the previous step, you will be required to either enter API credentials or log in to the platform to authenticate.
Simply follow the provided prompts in the modal window to finish the integration.
After your application is connected, it will appear in the Integration page.
Step 2: Adding a Lead capture form to your videos
With your email application connected, the next step is to add an email sign up form to your video.
Open the video you would like to add the form to. Go to the Interactions tools tab.
There are 3 available options: Before Video, During Video, After Video. These options determine when in the video playback the interaction tools are going to be shown.
Before Video: this option shows the interaction tool before the video starts. The viewer is expected to take an action e.g., submitting a form, before they can watch the video.
During Video: the interaction tool is shown during the video playback.
After Video: the interaction tool is shown after the viewer finishes watching the video.
To show the form and capture the viewer's email before they can watch the video, select the Before Video option.
Enable Email Capture by switching it on. In the form editor that appears, you are provided with options to customize the form to you need.
After customization, click the Save button to save your changes.
Step 3. Embed your video to your site
